truly awsome...

Apple has announced their own cell phone now, called the iPhone. It is truly groundbreaking. This is going to turn the cell phone world upside-down. Check it out here -> http://www.apple.com/iphone/ or watch the keynote speech here -> http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/j47d52oo/event/ . The keynote speech is really cool, it shows alot more and goes alot more indepth than just the iphone site. You can see alot of cool features in use. Check it out. Let me know what you think.

Net Neutrality

I encourage all of you guys to visit http://savetheinternet.com/ and through there contact your senetors etc. Net Neutrality is a really important issue and most of the decision makers in washington are too dunderheaded to understand it.

Well folks, it has been almost a month since the last post so I thought I'd take things into my own hands. It is officially summer, which means all the beautiful people are mostly naked.... in my backyard. But that doesn't really matter because I work all day in a restaurant and come back all stinky and gross. And I'm okay with that. I really am.

MS Expression

http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/en/default.mspx

Just who are they kidding? I can't believe they're even trying this - going head to head with Adobe and Macromedia? It's destined to fail. From what I've seen there's nothing revolutionary about the software (except for the integration... but that evokes from me a might "Meh!"), so why would anyone switch from using well-established Adobe and Macromedia products? I sure wouldn't - and won't.

Because Hogan Knows Best....

Last weekend I watched a TV show on VH1 with Brittany called "Hogan Knows Best". Im hooked, I wish my school got that chanel so I could see it. I like it. One of my good friend's older brother used to be obsessed with Hulk Hogan when he was little, and so i have gotten alot of exposure to the hulk during my life. We used to watch "Thunder in Paradise" every friday together. Good Times. Anyways, you should catch it sometime, its pretty funny. I like it because it is the first show I have ever seen about a rich family where the family isnt a bunch of snobby @#$@#$@!$. Of course they are a little used to getting their way, they are rich you know, but the Hulk Hogan is actually kind and loving to his family, it blew me away. He diciplines his children, and manages to do it in a loving, fatherly way. He tells his son that he is proud of him, he tells his kids he loves them. I was shocked at how nice he and they are. Maybe its because Hulk Hogan and his wife werent rich their whole lives, or because they come from modest backgrounds, I dunno. But I enjoy watching the show, and you might too.

Why......

......are all my friends getting wasted right now? Is that what fun is, getting drunk until you can't speak and doing a bunch of stupid stuff and waking up the next day not remembering any of it, but knowing it happened because you're so sick?

It just pisses me off. Maybe people just aren't capable of having fun unless they're trashed.

Google Calendar just came out recently and I'm beceoming slowly addicted to it. There are still alot of things that I would have them do differntly, but as it is still in beta, I'm sure they will add those features and fix the bugs. I suggest you try it. If you like, I'll even share my calendar with you and you can know about all things Tim.

Moving in...

I assume you guys know that I am transferring to Purdue, so I will be starting my junior year at Purdue and not Taylor. Yesterday I put down a deposit on a one bedroom apartment near Purdue, and I move in August 18th. Im pretty excited about it, it has alot of room :) And it has a sliding patio doors and a little patio where I can grill, and I got the corner apartment that has a pretty big grassy backyard part. Im really looking forward to going to Purdue and I can't wait to finally have my own place where I can cook whatever food I want and not be subject to the crap my school serves. In addition, there is a walking path essentially from my backyard to the walmart on the other side of a small pond, so i actually have a walmart within walking distance!!! This is a big thing for me, as it used to be a 35 minute drive to get to walmart. Also, I will be able to get pizza, like a real college student, it is a 47 minute drive to get dominoes out here. So hooray, I will be near civilization and have my own comfortable place with no roommates to bother me. Visitors welcome.

GM makes a blunder...

So apparently GM hooked up with Trump's "Apprentice" show to do alittle marketing for GM's new Chevy Tahoe. Bassically, you go online and make your own "TV" add for the new tahoe. Well, people recognized what a great opportunity this was and used it to make a whole bunch of slanderous commercials about the new gas guzzler. You can read about it here...

Craigslist: Missed Connections

This area of craigslist was mentioned offhand in a post on the google blog. I was curious so i checked it out, kinda weird, it seems people post things to it in hopes of meeting that person the walked past on the street but didnt talk to, yadda yadda yadda, etc. I thought this post was especially amusing...

Reefer Madness!!!

I came across this classic this morning. I think most of us can remember the great movie nights at Brett's, this was one of the fine selections we veiwed. Also, i heard that Brett made an appearance in a documentary about the suburbs of chicago, he was playing in his school jazz band or something? I think my mom bought the dvd, so i should get to see it over spring break. Anyways, enjoy the movie!

almost done!

Well, I only have one more final (COM 101) and that is this afternoon. Then I'm freeeeeee!!!! When do you, Sal and Tim, get out of school in the spring if you go back so early in winter? I get from Dec. 15 to Jan. 15 off and school ends May 10.

Why thank you for the complement on the pimp suit. I went to Steak and Shake and creeped out the waiter. I had stuffed my crotch majorly and put the menus on my lap for him to take them himself after we ordered. He kind of turned his wrist around and used two fingers to take the menus off my lap. With my enormous fake wang right there next to his hand. I left him a good tip for being such a trooper. Don't worry, it was Halloween.

So, no one posts anymore. Well I got news, I broke up with my gf a few weeks ago. That sucked, although it definitely needed to happen. Now I'm freakin' bored cause I get all my work done super fast all the time. I can keep up with my schoolwork and still have time to workout at least an hour and half everyday. I am swimming again. I party enough for three people. Life is good for me, how about those hurricanes?
